KNOW THYSELF

Exploring our school motto

The school motto, ‘Know Thyself’ dates back to ancient Greece and was expounded upon by the likes of Socrates. For me it speaks to the need for self-reflection, through which we will begin to understand our need for God and our dependence on each other. I believe that a good understanding of self will also spur us on as individuals towards training our bodies, mind and character so that we may maximise our God given potential and fulfil the calling upon our lives.
