The essence of a child’s future success is fully understood at SAHETI Playschool. It is here where the teachers’ main role is to develop the roots of each individual child, roots which are firmly planted in the fertile soil of educational excellence. These early years are the vitally formative years of a child’s life and our programme is carefully designed to nurture the children during this phase of the learning process.

Within the framework of Hellenic values, our children learn best through hands‐on and age-appropriate activities. The Playschool promotes learning and personal growth in a manner which respects individual differences. Our teachers provide opportunities for the children to develop physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills in a safe and stimulating environment.

Every living thing, every captivating sound and every glinting light means a world of countless hours of exploration and learning. Through these daily opportunities, our young children get to know themselves and develop their unique talents and abilities.

Some people call it play, but to our children and our teachers it is more important and significant than that. This is where life at school begins, where children are encouraged to explore, investigate, discover and gather the tools they need to excel in their future years of education.

Overview

SAHETl’s Playschool is the result of comprehensive research into the constantly changing needs of parents with regards to early childhood education and a growing demand for a facility of excellence providing superior care and stimulation for very young children. Our school embodies these priorities, from building design to an integrated learning and development programme in a delightful space for toddlers aged 14 months to 3 years.

Situated within SAHETl’s expansive wooded grounds, the setting of the Playschool is both dynamic and in tune with nature. A distinct characteristic of the facilities is the concept of providing for the specific needs of each age group. The core of the building is an enormous perception room for the development of gross motor skills, rhythm and celebrations. Age-appropriate outdoor areas cater for all spheres of development and stimulate creative and exploratory play.

This is the jewel of the gateway at which life at SAHETI begins – the growth path – where children are encouraged and stimulated to investigate, discover and garner the tools they need to realise their potential in life.
