The cultural offering in the Primary School lays the foundation for the initial development of individual abilities throughout school life. Pupils may choose activities varying from the musical, the rhythmic, the thespian, rhetoric and the interest-based offerings in the various clubs.
The Greek character of the school is clearly evident in the groups of young Sahetians enthusiastically performing Greek folk dances in traditional dress. The national day celebrations, such an integral part of the spirit of the whole school, provide each child with an arena to act and relish the joy of participation.
The vibrant Music Centre offers private tuition in several instruments, producing spirited members of the very successful school bands as well as solo musicians. Our pupils are successful participants in the local chapter of the National Eisteddfod Academy showcasing their skills acting, singing, dancing and reciting.
Playing chess is encouraged, as a valuable means of enhancing critical thinking and problem solving skills, creativity and academic performance, within a fun and dynamic space.
Annual productions in different phases of the school offer opportunities for confidence and character building, but above all for sheer enjoyment.
All pupils are expected to take part in at least one cultural activity, with many voluntarily committing to a number of different options.
