The SAHETI Alumni Association is thrilled to share that this year, Animator Robyn Yannoukos won another Emmy for her work as a colorist on “Tumble Leaf”. She won the Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation! Robyn has previously won an Emmy, again for her work on “Tumble Leaf”, in 2015.

She has a Masters of Fine Arts in animation, majoring in stop motion animation, University of California, Los Angeles.

When we spoke to her she had the following to share with us about SAHETI: “SAHETI School is a scholastic institution that encourages creativity, critical thinking, as well as individuality through learning and exploration. I was lucky enough to have Maretha Senekal as my art teacher throughout high school and to this day, I am grateful for her knowledge, her passion to help students, and her drive to push them to be the best they can be.

I owe much of my career to her and her love for teaching. I feel that all the teachers at SAHETI have the same motivation to support their students in their own personal journey in finding their passion in life and following them. It is a stimulating environment where students can thrive to meet their utmost potential.”
