Brooch worn by Her Britannic Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

On behalf of the SAHETI Alumni Association, we would like to congratulate SAHETI alumnus Kevin Friedman (Class of 1987), whose jewellery designer piece was worn by Her Britannic Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Kevin’s accomplishment also made it into the Sunday Times newspaper. Well done Kevin! What a phenominal achievement! Kevin said: “I’m freaking out! I have just seen my jewellery on Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. This work was a commission from the Botswana Government and they wanted a brooch.

I never asked for whom and bam! I have just seen my creation on the Queen! The diamonds were all especially cut to fit the exact proportions of my drawing. I am so grateful!”
