We are incredibly proud of SAHETI alumni, Michelle Detsikas (Class of 2000) and Ellen Kardamylakis (Class of 2008), who recently took to the stage as presenters at the SAHETI Primary School National Mathematics Teachers' Conference.
Hosted under the inspiring theme Maths Matters, the conference highlighted that Mathematics goes far beyond marks - it is about thinking, reasoning, curiosity, and cognitive growth. Ellen Kardamylakis (Centennial Schools Deputy Principal) captivated delegates with her session, Mathematical Mischief: Breaking the Rules to Build Curiosity, while Michelle Detsikas (ScopeIT) co-presented From Algorithms to Answers: How Coding & Robotics Ignite Mathematical Thinking, showcasing innovation and forward-thinking education.
Their contributions are a true reflection of the strength, leadership, and impact of SAHETI alumni in the field of education.
