Once again, this event attracted over one thousand people. The aim of the mini marathon is to raise funds for an additional full award for the George Bizos SAHETI Scholarship and Bursary Fund (GBSSBF). Many alumni participated in the run which shows the love and dedication our alumni have for the school. The alumni office organised an alumni table where alumni visited and reconnected.
We also sold alumni branded caps and children’s t-shirts. The music at the beginning of the race was sponsored by the ΣAHETI Alumni Association. Pano Stamatiadis (Class of 1988) was the DJ who generously gave his time to play up-beat music and put everyone in a really good mood for the morning run. Well done to all who participated in this worthy fundraiser.
