Thank you and well done to the SAHETI Alumni who took part in the fourth annual George Bizos Mini Marathon.
Congratulations to Andrea Zayannakis (class of 2014) and Dimitri Gonatas (class of 2014) who were the first Alumni to cross the finish line in the 4.2km category. Prizes toward this category were generously donated by Piatto and Mimmos.
The event which was started in 2011 aims to raise funds for an additional full award for the George Bizos SAHETI Scholarship and Bursary Fund (GBSSBF). This fund attracts and assists pupils of outstanding ability who are in financial need to access an education at SAHETI School.
This year children from Malvern Primary School took part with much excitement – the school where Advocate George Bizos spent many of his childhood years. Thank you to Saki Halamandaris (class of 1996) who sponsored entries for these children.
