100% DEGREE PASS FOR SAHETI MATRICS

SAHETI has maintained its impressive academic record, as its 43 matriculants clocked in 126 distinctions, 25 of which were in the A+ category (90 – 100%). Two candidates achieved full house distinctions of nine subjects each, many of which are comfortably in the 90% range. A differentiating factor of the school is that close to 50% of the pupils carry Modern Greek as an additional subject, in many instances either as an eighth, ninth or tenth designated subject. The entire Class of 2018 achieved a Degree Pass.

Determination and a goal-driven approach has secured a high level of academic achievement yet again, as 33 out of the 43 pupils brought home subject distinctions, with twelve candidates being granted a distinction average, one of which was an A+. Multiple distinctions were achieved by several pupils, while ten pupils in total achieved six, seven, eight and nine distinctions. With some major universities now considering Advanced Programme Mathematics and Advanced Programme English as part of their Admission Point Score (APS), SAHETI continues to drive these subjects with great success: nine out of eleven pupils achieved distinctions in either Advanced Programme Mathematics or Advanced Programme English.

Executive Headmaster Mr Warwick Taylor comments: “We are delighted with the results of each of our students from our small class of 43 this year. Achieving a 100% Degree Pass is significant, and will afford all the opportunity of proceeding with academic studies. I thank the teachers and parents who have supported, guided and taught them. The Matrics of 2018 have worked hard and achieved their personal best. We wish them God’s blessing as they pursue their careers of choice.”
