SAHETI WELCOMES EXCHANGE STUDENTS FROM TRIKALA HIGH SCHOOL IN GREECE

February welcomed a group of excited and enthusiastic children from Grade 10 and 11 from the Trikala High School in Greece. This was the first of an exchange programme and with the support of our SAHETI family, these 9 scholars and their 2 teachers were hosted in true SAHETI style. In the short time that they were here we gave them a whirlwind taste of the way we do things in South Africa. They left us Saturday 5 February to go back home but we know that they have left part of their heart with us. It is the first time that SAHETI has embraced an exchange programme and certainly with the success that this has shown, it is something that is worth persevering in future years. We thank the families who so generously hosted the 9 scholars and made them feel most welcome.
